Wildfire Season Is Here…Be Ready: Attend a Firewise Workshop July 12 in Omak.
Okanogan Conservation District is holding a Firewise workshop in Omak on Saturday July 12 from 10 am-12 pm. The workshop will be at the Big R conference room, 1227 Koala Dr, Omak, WA. The workshop is provided in partnership with Washington Department of Natural Resources and Okanogan County. Local fire managers will discuss ways to prepare one's home and property for wildfire, and how to react when a wildfire is in the area. Light refreshments will be provided.
