If you own livestock, we can help you plan and implement effective conservation practices suited to your land.

		Livestock and Water Quality Technical assistance available to recommend a variety of practices for waste utilization, forage production, off-site watering and more. Up to 75% cost-share may be available for projects that improve or protect water quality. Previously funded projects include riparian fencing, cross fencing, hardened watering points, and the development of springs and associated watering troughs.
		Backyards and Small Farms Technical assistance available specifically for smaller parcels. Learn how to adopt common-sense conservation practices that can meet your goals for your property. From manure management to cross-fencing and rotational grazing, our staff can work with you to develop a plan that suits your needs and addresses natural resource concerns.

Call or email us for more information. Programs require a site visit to determine eligibility and to develop appropriate conservation plans. All District programs are free of charge, voluntary and non-regulatory- you choose what recommended conservation practices to implement on your property.
