Printer-friendly version

We're all part of a watershed, and water quality is crucial.

The Okanogan Conservation District can help with issues related to water bodies with projects like habitat restoration, erosion control, manure management, and fish protection.

Technical assistance and cost-share are available for projects that improve water quality related to livestock. Items such as creek-side fencing and spring developments are typically funded by this program.

 Okanogan River Screens

If the fish screen on your pump irrigation diversion is out of compliance, we can help.

You could receive 100% cost share and free technical assistance to ensure your screen meets requirements for fish protection.

Participation is strictly voluntary but strongly encouraged. Properly-sized screens help protect fish, minimize debris build-up and increase pump efficiency.
