Board Supervisor Election Notice

Notice of the Intent to Adopt an Election Resolution 

The Okanogan Conservation District Board of Supervisors will hold a meeting at 4:00 PM on November 1, 2012 at the USDA Service Center, 1251 S. 2nd Ave, Okanogan, WA to adopt a resolution setting the date, time, and location of an election to fill a Conservation District Supervisor’s expiring term.

Feast of Field and Stream

Washington Water Project of Trout Unlimited is hosting its Second Annual Feast of Field and Stream dinner to celebrate years of helping farmers help fish as well as honor local farms participating in Salmon-Safe Certification. The dinner will be held at Methow Valley Ciderhouse on September 2nd. Local food and wine will be served. Click here for the invitation (pdf).

Request for Bids: Culvert Replacement

The Okanogan Conservation District is accepting bids from contractors for a culvert replacement project.  

Bids must be submitted by June 1, 2012 at 2:00 PM.  

A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for May 21, 2012 at 2:00 PM. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is strongly advised for anyone intending to submit a bid.  

2012 Natural Resource Priority Survey

ONLINE Forest Stewardship Coached Planning

This spring, Washington State University Snohomish County Extension and the Washington Department of Natural Resources will take their flagship Forest Stewardship Coached Planning course online as a series of live, interactive webinars. Woodland owners are invited to participate in this seven-week online course, which will run Tuesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., April 24th through June 5th.
