The annual Meeting begins at noon at the Omak Elks building and runs through most of the afternoon with a Steak & Eggs Lunch. Social will commence 5:30 p.m at the Elks Banquet Hall. Tickets at the door.

WACD Annual Meeting

Three members of the Okanogan Conservation District Board of Supervisors will be attending the Washington Association of Conservation District’s Annual Meeting beginning Monday, November 26 through Thursday, November 29 at Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum, WA.  They will be attending listening and training sessions on conservation district governance, state budget, natural resource conservation policies at the local, state, and federal levels, and working with conservation district supervisors from around Washington State on Association busi

Firewise Workshop November 3

The Okanogan Conservation District, in partnership with Washington Department of Natural Resources, US Forest Service, and Okanogan Fire District 6, will be hosting a Firewise wildfire preparedness workshop for Methow Valley residents on Saturday, November 3. The workshop will be at the Methow Community Center, a.k.a. "the schoolhouse", behind the Methow post office. 

Board Supervisor Election Notice

Notice of the Intent to Adopt an Election Resolution 

The Okanogan Conservation District Board of Supervisors will hold a meeting at 4:00 PM on November 1, 2012 at the USDA Service Center, 1251 S. 2nd Ave, Okanogan, WA to adopt a resolution setting the date, time, and location of an election to fill a Conservation District Supervisor’s expiring term.

Feast of Field and Stream

Washington Water Project of Trout Unlimited is hosting its Second Annual Feast of Field and Stream dinner to celebrate years of helping farmers help fish as well as honor local farms participating in Salmon-Safe Certification.
